Serves as the Deputy Assistant Administrator in the Office of Water at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Previously held several senior positions on the staffs of both the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate. The combined Congressional career spanned 26+ years.

The Capitol Hill career included hundreds of congressional hearings, scores of legislative accomplishments, and interaction with the public, State and local officials, and interest groups.

Areas of legislative and policy experience are: matters relating to water pollution control and water infrastructure; hazardous waste cleanup; water resources development, conservation and management; transportation; and, emergency and disaster response.

Graduated the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary in 1980, and the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1977.
