Alex Pawlowski is a Senior Regulatory Strategy Specialist at Kia America, where he has been for over two years, working with greenhouse gas policy, EV strategy, and Vehicle 2 Everything (V2X) for Kia.
Alex is originally from Virginia Beach, VA where he saw transportation and the environment interact first hand on the many beaches, estuaries, and wetlands back home. His time in graduate school at the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory got his feet wet in many of the activities that the Department of Energy funds in transportation and advanced manufacturing. Now in Southern California, when not working on exciting projects for Kia, you can find Alex swimming, biking, running, kayaking or in the ocean.
