My name is Kyle Parsons, and I am the founder of Indosole, a footwear company based in San Francisco with manufacturing in Bali, Indonesia. We are pioneering a niche in the footwear market for repurposed shoes and sandals. We are currently in our 6th year of business. I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire and attended prep. school at Proctor Academy, which has always offered courses in environmental studies and sustainability. It is a pioneer in the movement and was ahead of its time. I attended college at Plymouth State University in NH. I moved to Lake Tahoe, California, in 2001 and never looked back to the East Coast. My love for the California lifestyle has been expressed through snowboarding, surfing and action sports. I got involved with the sport/fashion retail industry in 2002 and spent 10 years as an independent sales rep. in the northern California territory selling snowboarding equipment, sunglasses and accessories. Indosole has become a perfect hybrid of past experiences selling products combined with a love of the planet.Episodes
