As Vice President of Sustainability for Whole Foods Market, Caitlin is responsible for creating and implementing the company’s sustainability vision and strategy in more than 540 stores worldwide.

From climate strategy, to waste reduction, to water and land stewardship, Caitlin works to improve Whole Foods Market’s impact as a company and plays a key role in helping the company achieve its purpose of nourishing people and the planet. Caitlin joined Whole Foods Market in July of 2021, after over a decade of leading Sustainability for Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Caitlin is a passionate believer in the potential that food has to change the world.

Caitlin received her BA in journalism from the University of New Hampshire and earned her Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.  She is in the process of getting her PhD in Sustainability Education with a focus on Environmental and Social Justice from Prescott College in Arizona.
