Casey grew up on the island of Maui but graduated from high school in Seattle. He earned a BA in business administration from the University of Washington before earning an MBA in sustainable business from Pinchot University, formerly the Bainbridge Graduate Institute.

He’s a co-founder of Community Sourced Capital, a social purpose corporation and certified B Corp helping small businesses raise capital directly from their community. Casey also teaches sustainable finance at Pinchot University, where he gets to talk about traditional and alternative systems for financing businesses and communities.
