                        Rodney serves as The Answer Man (an all-purpose information resource for the public & the media)  for Equal Exchange, the worker co-operative best known for their pioneering Fair Trade work with over 70 small-farmer co-operatives, in 29 countries, around the world.
After living in Guatemala, Mexico and studying economic development Rodney joined Equal Exchange in 1996. He is one the co-op’s 117 worker-owner members and a former two-term board director.
 
Founded in 1986 Equal Exchange is one of North America’s oldest, largest, and most successful worker co-operatives and was recently featured in the PBS documentary “Shift Change.”  Today it is a $60M, diversified importer and wholesaler of Fair Trade, organic coffee, tea, chocolate, bananas, nuts and other foods.
