As Petco’s Vice President of Sustainability, Francesca is responsible for delivering on the company’s commitment to drive positive societal change through accelerated sustainability efforts within the company’s business and industry, as well as the world at large.
An accomplished retail leader, Francesca works cross-functionally with key areas of Petco’s enterprise — such as operations, merchandise, and supply chain — to advance sustainability and drive strategic growth.
Francesca is passionate about preserving the health of our planet to help current and future generations of pets and people thrive. She has been a driving force in Petco’s industry-leading commitment to increase its assortment of sustainable pet products to 50% by the end of 2025.
Francesca has spent more than a decade transforming teams, building brands and leading strategies for renowned companies. Before joining Petco, she spent over 10 years at Target, in a variety of merchandising and marketing roles.
Francesca holds a bachelor’s degree in consumer science and retail from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is based at Petco’s National Support Center in San Diego.
