About

Will Burger is the Marketing Director at Hope Foods, an organic food manufacture based out of Boulder, Colorado. The Hope brand has vision to bring flavor and fresh innovation to the organic dip & spreads category. All products are certified organic, non-GMO, and gluten free. Known for its clean ingredients and fresh taste, Hope was awarded a “Best Clean Packaged Food Award” by Prevention magazine, and “Best Allergen-Free Snack” by Delicious Living magazine this year. As Hope grows quickly in both the natural and conventional market arenas, the brand is committed to remaining a trustworthy manufacturer of organic food. One of the ways they intend to do this is by high pressure processing. Much like the process of cold-pressed juice, HPP is a cold-water pressure process that kills bacteria without deteriorating enzymes and other healthy nutrients. HPP is revolutionizing the shelf life of perishable organic foods without heat and sets Hope’s dips and spreads apart in taste from the rest. Hope Foods looks forward to contributing to the growth of the organic foods industry in America. How did you first get involved in the green industry? Hope has been all organic and a part of the reform of food culture from its humble beginnings in the Boulder Farmer’s Market three years ago. What interests you most about being green? Changing the culture of the food industry. Americans are not pleased about what they’re learning. Food isn’t what it used to be. Food allergies are on the rise while nutrient density and health are in decline. We think it’s time to make food as honest and bold as nature intended it to be — that’s why we’re bringing HOPE to the food industry. What is your biggest “green” pet peeve? Advocacy for processes that create adsorbent amounts of paperwork, with little true change. What green trend is most exciting to you or your industry? The rise of the organic industry and consumer education. It’s exciting to begin to see a tip in organic buying habits and farming in America.
