As the Director of Sustainability Strategy for North America in the American Honda Motor Company’s Regional Planning team, James Reeves helps to shape the path forward for Honda to achieve its two 2050 goals: zero impact on the environment and zero traffic fatalities involving a Honda vehicle.
Over his many decades of experience in sustainability, he has advised some of the world’s top companies on their social and environmental strategies, including Unilever, McDonald’s USA, McDonald’s Corporation, Cedar Fair / Six Flags Entertainment, OfficeMax, and Allstate.
James started his career in think-tanks in Washington, DC researching corporate social responsibility and public policy. He is the co-author of the 2002 book Corporate Responsibility in the Global Village. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Long Beach, California with his husband, and pit bull rescue named Queen Elizabeth Taylor Swift.
