Joanne Dwyer oversees all corporate social responsibility, sustainability and communications initiatives at PetSmart. Joining the team in 2022 as PetSmart’s first vice president of CSR and sustainability, she developed the company’s CSR platform, A World Through Their Eyes, working to create a world as pets see it – more compassionate, inclusive, sincere, nature-loving and community-centric. In addition to this work, she leads the company’s Belonging strategy and corporate communications teams, including public relations, corporate reputation, and internal communications through events, executive communications and Central Bark, a mobile-first communication tool to help reach and engage associates across the enterprise. Prior to joining PetSmart she held several roles at CVS Health over her 15 years with the company, most recently serving as vice president of CSR & Sustainability.
