About
John is a Strategy Leader and Managing Director in Deloitte’s Sustainability, Climate & Equity practice. He leads a cross-business team, which is developing technology- and analytics-enabled tools to help companies and investors set and implement decarbonization plans, commercialize abatements, and understand climate-related risks. John also led the Responsible Enterprise strategy for Deloitte’s CEO, which included definition of Deloitte’s own net zero goals. John has been focused on sustainability, ESG and purpose for more than decade along with related work on growth strategy, innovation, digital and customer strategy. He has worked with clients in a number of industries, including Public Sector, architecting sustainability-led transformations and has developed many long-term relationships at the CEO and CxO level with Fortune 500 clients. John came to this work through a background in International Public Sector and International Development, where he became deeply interested in the potential for large companies to act as a force for good in the world.
