About

A self-professed hippie and pop culture enthusiast, Lauren Sullivan combined those two personas by co-founding Reverb, an organization that connects music fans with environmentally focused nonprofits. Just in the last year alone, Reverb has worked with artists like Dave Matthews Band, fun., Ben Folds Five and many more to help green the minds of their audiences. Reverb sends its team on tours to set up “eco-villages” to engage crowds, provide compostable foodware, meet with local farmers and nonprofits and much more. “Any fan that is at the show is there because they want to see their favorite artist perform — it’s about that feeling, that connection with the artist,” Sullivan says. “What we do is highlight that relationship and use that relationship to help. It’s about engaging them in fun ways. What we aim to do is not preach, but just have a dialogue with folks.”
