Tim is the Vice President of Financial Products for SolarCity. He leads the new SolarCity initiative to provide a broad range of investors – including individuals and institutions of all sizes – with access to financial products backed by diversified portfolios of SolarCity’s solar assets.
Tim was introduced to green issues in the early 90s as part of his work in the Clinton Administration. From 1993 to 1997, he was the policy director for the White House science and technology staff. He was challenged to identify how the nation could do a better job of protecting the environment, at lower cost, while continuing to generate jobs and economic growth. For the next year two years, Tim worked with government agencies and a range of industry leaders to develop the first National Environmental Technology Strategy.
