Theron Grim, Hasbro Inc.’s Vice President of Global Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability, oversees Hasbro’s Global ESG and Sustainability Programs, achieving high scores across relevant stakeholder evaluation programs/platforms. In his four years at Hasbro, Theron has developed program/processes and directed the on-time delivery of international GHG/EHS data reporting for all business units, operating assets and business partners. Through cross-company collaboration, he set Science-Based Targets and developed climate risk framework in accordance with TCFD. Theron also developed and implemented global corporate EHS policies and procedures while improving H&S reporting across the organization; this resulted in the ability to better target safety program efforts and trainings, resulting in accident reduction in the first year, exceeding 50%. Previously, he was Senior Corporate EHS Programs Manager at Cree, where he developed and implemented programs related to Precious Metals waste recycling, saving the company $0.5M to $1M/year in precious metal recovery, and developed and implemented a global safe driving program. Theron earned his BS in Geology from the University of Maryland.
