About
Danielle Mulder is the BBC Group’s Director of Sustainability, leading the Net Zero, Nature Positive and People Positive strategies across the BBC. Danielle was awarded UK Green Business Leader of the Year in 2023 and is a sustainability expert with more than 20 years’ experience at firms including KPMG, Accenture, and Carbon Intelligence.
Danielle has worked on sustainability for large global projects and corporates including the London 2012 Olympics, the Commonwealth Games, Grosvenor, AVIVA and WPP. Danielle developed our Science Based Targets and Net Zero strategy for COP26 in Glasgow and started in her role as our first Sustainability Director in August ’21. Danielle has an MSc in Environmental Science and is also a keen cyclist.
